Cody and Destiny were two very special therapy horses who helped many people navigate physical and emotional challenges. They were friends and herd mates and were deeply loved. In light of the tremendous gifts they gave to clients, staff, and volunteers who worked with them, we have named this program Cody's Destiny.

Hope learned at an early age that spending time with horses had a positive impact on humans. At age 9, Hope met her first horse and knew that is was a relationship that would forever change her. Over the past 25 plus years, Hope has paired horses with humans for a multitude of activities including recreational riding, therapeutic riding, natural horsemanship, equine-assisted mental health, and equine-assisted learning. Hope is certified by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH) as an equine specialist in mental health and learning and as a therapeutic riding instructor. She is also certified with OK Corral, and is level 1 trained and on a path toward certification with Natural Lifemanship, a trauma-informed equine-assisted psychotherapy (EAP) model. Hope is passionate about helping people heal through connection with horses, nature, and our own inner experience.

Cody's Destiny contracts with several licensed mental health professionals. With a variety of practitioners, we are able to tailor our sessions to meet you where you are. Whether you are struggling with addiction, grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, or if you feel like joy is not within your grasp, we can help. Our equine partners are a diverse mix of sentient beings with their own personalities and attachment styles. They are true partners who graciously join our therapy team and share their beauty and grace with us every day.
